She’s My Girl

She’s My Girl was such a joy to make. It required of me a focus for symmetry and feeling. Hand engraved freeform tassels on either side.  Hannya masks are used in the Japanese Noh theatre- they are used to depict women overcome with passionate despair about their unrequited love. Sorrowful and deeply pained, she’s depicted as a terrifying demon. What a tragedy and blessing it is to be so thoroughly shattered. I offer you this ring out of humility and respect for its origin, thank you.
